What an absolute gem! Den is a fantastic and kind host that will make you feel home. I can recommend his place 100%. The staff was kind enough to suffer through my bad Japanese and speaks English very well. Don't miss out on the delicious beer!

The amazing breakfast and the heart warming friendliness of the hosts are the biggest advantages of this place. Strolling through the little harbour town Mitsu is lovely and the train will take you in 15 mins to downtown Matsuyama.

Nice small well orgznized ryokan with tatami setup at the room. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with access to many nearby groceries like Lamu which operate 24hrs, and many other restaurants. Closer to the harbor seaside with short walking distance. The owner is really a nice lady which provided us lots of guidance to explore the nearby attraction places. Will certainly visit this place for a longer period in the near future!

El Hotel Fine Garden Matsuyama se encuentra a 5 minutos en taxi de la estación de tren JR de Mitsuhama y a 10 minutos en auto del castillo de Matsuyama. Big room. Very spacious and value for money. But do note that is good only if you drive. There is basically nothing around the hotel. Breakfast was a big portion.

The owner is an artist in his soul and has created an environment that envelopes you in a the essence of Japan. There are two Japanese gardens complete with Koi fish you are invited to feed. There is a large living area besides the large bedroom that is yours to enjoy. The property is in the a quiet neighborhood with local restaurants within 3 or 4 blocks. Across the street is a manga library that you can explore. It’s all so gentle and accessible. I highly recommend you find this to answer your question as to what is Japan without the hype! Enjoy!!

旧鈴木邸 女性専用 se encuentra en Matsuyama, a 2,1 km de Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, wifi gratis, cocina compartida y salón de uso común. The old resident house was built in the early 1900s and has been very well maintained. Our hosts were so lovely and very generous! They welcomed us with small gifts and a map to show us the best sites to see. Location is very easily accessible by train.

El Hotel Sunroute Matsuyam, situado a 3 minutos a pie de la estación de JR Matsuyama, se encuentra a 10 minutos en tranvía del castillo de Matsuyama. Stayed in the hotel as part of a solo walking henro trip. Everything was good with this hotel stay- room ws fine, clean and comfortable. Location near the Matsyama JR station was convinient. As with other hotels had to wait till the checkin time so was able to leave my backpack and walk around the area. When I returned they have already moved my backpack to the room (nice).

Just a minute’s walk from JR Matsuyama Station, Terminal Hotel Matsuyama houses a restaurant and offers Western-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. Free bicycle rentals are provided. Location was amazing, just right outside the JR station! Easy to commute to and fro other cities / parts of Matsuyama. Staff was also fluent in English which helped a lot with the check-in processes.

Perfectly located close to the train station, the JR bus and the trolley who goes around town. Japanese room is cozy and spotless and the staff very helpful. I am considering going back.
