Ubytovanie Jomon no Yado Manten sa nachádza v destinácii Jakušima 20 km od miesta Shiratani Unsuikyo a 25 km od miesta Yakusugi Land. The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

You can really feel the love in the home, a warm environment created by Satomi (owner). Communicating was never a problem because of her ability to express herself (and also google translate). She was very helpful and caring, and Tomarigi felt like a 2nd home with Satomi as the mother and the guests as her children.

The little pension is run by a lovely grandma and grandpa. Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.

Host was very kind - drove me to Miyanoura for food and to catch my ferry. The cottage was very pleasant.

At Cottage Morinokokage, guests can rent out a cottage with a hammock. Free WiFi is available in the guest rooms. Clean, comfortable, host was amazing and very helpful.

The property was in a great location with easy access to some of the best restaurants on the island. I have been to Japan 5 times and, while I have stayed with many hosts that I enjoyed, Ayumi was the only host to offer to make dinner reservations for me which I thought was amazing. Every time we were in the common area she was there with us, having fun, and making an effort to keep us entertained. We loved her personality. The rooms were comfortable and we appreciated that the property was on it's own and outside of town. When you open the windows, you can hear the sound of nature without the rushing of cars/scooters. Each room comes with its own bathroom which is great as well. Each day we received bento boxes which is such a nice touch! It's hard to find time to stop the days events to get some food and with these we could eat on the go which we loved.

Nice and cozy place with large and warm kitchen. We especially liked the view outside. Would consider coming back again to enjoy the sauna.

A 3-minute drive from Ambo Harbour, Yakushima Green Hotel offers Japanese-style and Western rooms with ocean views. The place is very beautiful and very well located. We loved our room and will probably be back, The staff is very nice. Thank you for the great stay !
