The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

Situated in Yakushima, 25 km from Yakusugi Land and 11 km from Scuba Diving Ever Blue Yakushima, Yakushima Pension Ichigoichie features accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. The little pension is run by a lovely grandma and grandpa. Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.

Situated in Yakushima and only 18 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, Yakushima Cottage Kukai features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Host was very kind - drove me to Miyanoura for food and to catch my ferry. The cottage was very pleasant.

Yakushima Minsyuku Suginoko, a property with a garden, is located in Yakushima, 18 km from Yakusugi Land, 26 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, as well as 11 km from Yumiyahachiman Shrine. The whole crew of Suginoko is awesome! They try to help you with everything and make the best out of your stay. Even if the communication always takes a while by using the translator they never get tired answering your question or giving recommendations.
