Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

Tomarigi er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yakushima-flugvelli og býður upp á koju í svefnsal, garð með hengirúmi og ókeypis WiFi. The cosy, family feel of the place made my stay in Yakushima. The lady running the place was so nice and she prepared Onigiri for guests who had planned hikes on the island, which was really convenient. She also plans your sightseeing with you if you want, as she knows the bus schedules and the different things to see quite well. Met some really nice people at the guest house and shared an amazing hot pot on the last night. Tomarigi made my stay in Yakushima. Also, theres a supermarket about 5 minutes away by foot, which was really convenient.

Yakushima Pension Ichigoichie er 3 stjörnu gististaður í Yakushima, 25 km frá Yakusugi Land. Garður er til staðar. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 20 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo. The little pension is run by a lovely grandma and grandpa. Very welcoming, even though there was a language barrier, as they do not speak English, we managed to get the point across via translation apps. They offer yummy breakfast and can prepare nice bento for you if you ask for it for lunch. The location is great, near the airport, however car is optimal for the best experience. The location of the pension is close to all of the main routes and key activities. We were staying in the private bathroom room and were happy with the facilities.

Yakushima Cottage Kukai er staðsett í Yakushima og er aðeins 18 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo. Boðið er upp á gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Host was very kind - drove me to Miyanoura for food and to catch my ferry. The cottage was very pleasant.

Situated in Tabugawa, 15 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo and 29 km from Yakusugi Land, 新築貸切 屋久島の地杉香る 完全貸切別荘 家族やグループでの利用にぴったり offers air conditioning. It was hands down the best place I've stayed in Japan so far! Huge rooms with lots of space. Great amenities. Had an ocean view from upstairs which was incredible. It was very easy to find and had parking available. We had such a lovely stay and our hosts were super communicative and friendly! Would highly recommend.

Á Cottage Morinokokage geta gestir leigt sumarbústað með hengirúmi. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði á herbergjunum. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The cottages maintained well and it has everything you need for a nice stay.

Yakushima Minsyuku Suginoko er gististaður með garði í Yakushima, 18 km frá Yakusugi Land, 26 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo og 11 km frá Yumiyahachiman-helgiskríninu. Suginoko is an awesome place! If you come to Yakoshima with the ferry, it's not that far away from Anbo and easy to get there of foot, and with the bus as well! The accomodation is clean, cozy, it embraces the nature. Ayumi-san is really helpful and were super nice whenever we had "problems" or questions! Cheers Daniel & Chieri

SAKURA YAKUSHIMA er staðsett í Yakushima og státar af gufubaði. Gististaðurinn er 13 km frá Shiratani Unsuikyo og býður upp á garð. Nice and cozy place with large and warm kitchen. We especially liked the view outside. Would consider coming back again to enjoy the sauna.

Yakushima Green Hotel er í 3 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Ambo-höfn og býður upp á herbergi í japönskum og vestrænum stíl með sjávarútsýni. The ocean view was beautiful. The staff helpful with the help of the iPad translator. Although the facilities were outdated the eastern style room was worth the experience. Thank you to the staff who helped us!!
