The location couldn't be better, it is literally across the street from the airport. Bus stops are very plentiful nearby and the hotel staff is very well versed in showing you exactly which buses you need to get to your destination on the island. They are able to call taxis for you if necessary as well. All around wonderful location and very helpful staff!

Yakushima Minsyuku Suginoko, a property with a garden, is located in Yakushima, 18 km from Yakusugi Land, 26 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, as well as 11 km from Yumiyahachiman Shrine. The host is extremely kind and attentive! She took care to help with dinner reservations, and the daily lunchtime bento was wonderful. She encourages guests to be respectful of each other due to some waking up very early for hikes, so the accommodation is warm and welcoming but also peaceful. It is clean and has everything you need. Boasting a sauna, SAKURA YAKUSHIMA is situated in Yakushima. Located 13 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, the property provides a garden. Nice and cozy place with large and warm kitchen. We especially liked the view outside. Would consider coming back again to enjoy the sauna.

A 3-minute drive from Ambo Harbour, Yakushima Green Hotel offers Japanese-style and Western rooms with ocean views. The place is very beautiful and very well located. We loved our room and will probably be back, The staff is very nice. Thank you for the great stay !
