After staying at a few airbnb's that were not clean this place was a dream! It was spotless, cozy and bright. We traveled as a group of 5 and really enjoyed using the kitchen and dining area. The host was so kind and helpful. We left early in the morning for the airport, this spot couldn't have been more convienant for an early morning flight. Wonderful value for money!

Excellent transport system. Very vibrant and friendly people. Delicious food ranging in price from cheap to expensive. Beaches and museums in close proximity so plenty of variety. Signposting was sometimes lacking.
A great neighbourhood to experience authentic life in another country and culture. Weekends are festive in the area with lots of activity at the local bars and cafes. Not many tourists around though... more elderly population noticeable.
We all loved the old city with its historical architecture shops, bakeries, bars and vibrant life. The Guggenheim was fascinating to visit great art and displays. We always felt welcome and safe and enjoyed our stay.
Good place for a break. Food and drink are good and inexpensive. Getting around is easy. I would recommend getting a travel card on your visit, which can be used on all forms of transport. I also took a day trip to San Sebastian. It takes about 1 hour and twenty minutes by bus, costing around 10 euros each way. I would also recommend the bars in Calle Ledesma which have a lovely vibrant atmosphere.
Excellent city break with an old and new town to explore. Lovely people, very clean, great architecture, very reasonable and amazing food. Agape restaurant was lovely for a set menu of the day and Casa Rusu was great for steak in a quirky setting at the back of a Deli The market is well worth a visit with a food hall to eat in. Cafe Iruña for morning coffee
Bilbao suprised me possitively in every sence. From the Guggenheim museum, arhitecture, restaurants and bars. Perfect place to make one day excursions from with local transport. No need for car rental.
