The location is hard to beat: it's within 10 walking distance from 3 dive shops, 2 groceries, 4 restaurants and the Tiputa Pass itself. They also provided me with a bicycle (and a headlight) which turned that into less than 2-3 minutes. The cabin was in a great condition. They even stocked the fridge with a food items which came in very handy on Sunday when the shops were closed. The beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. I saw many butterfly fish and even a few baby blacktips in the shallows. Jeannine and her entire family were amazing hosts. Highly recommended!

Blue Lagoon Villa is a recently renovated villa in Avatoru, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, private beach area and garden. We used to stay at a big hotel in Rangiroa, but really prefer the villa, more advantages. It has a real pool on the beach (not just a small one with no view) and the villa opens up to a stunning lagoon! The villa is large, spacious, modern, super clean, and very comfortable. We loved: - beautiful pool in front of the sea - the entire place opening up to the sea - Air conditioning in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (hard to find in Polynesia) - few small restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket just 3 minutes away on foot - Louis picking us up on the beach for excursions to the Blue Lagoon! - kayak trips were amazing - super comfortable beds - a private garden with no neighbors, the river, and the beach We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks this time! It is a really beautiful bungalow, perfect for a couple to stay. Every morning, the host greeted us with a fresh baguette and fruits from their garden. The Wi-Fi is strong and absolute stable. There is a fully equipped kitchen. We could use their bicycles anytime. Transport from and to the airport was also arranged.

This place is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely well located. I was in both of the high-end hotels on Rangiroa during my stay, and I felt that Rangiroa Cottage was just as nice. If you prefer the independence of staying in a home, then this is a far superior option. On top of that, it is much cheaper.

The wife speaks a really good English and took care of every detail to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality truly made my experience in Rangiroa unforgettable.The house itself is charming and well-maintained, reflecting the warm and welcoming atmosphere of its owners. They offer pick-up and drop-off services from the airport, which made my arrival and departure stress-free. Additionally, the owner's brother runs a boat tour company based right next to the house, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings.I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the genuine hospitality of Polynesia and have an unforgettable stay in Rangiroa.
