The location is hard to beat: it's within 10 walking distance from 3 dive shops, 2 groceries, 4 restaurants and the Tiputa Pass itself. They also provided me with a bicycle (and a headlight) which turned that into less than 2-3 minutes. The cabin was in a great condition. They even stocked the fridge with a food items which came in very handy on Sunday when the shops were closed. The beach is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. I saw many butterfly fish and even a few baby blacktips in the shallows. Jeannine and her entire family were amazing hosts. Highly recommended!

Blue Lagoon Villa er en nyrenoveret villa i Avatoru, hvor gæsterne kan få mest muligt ud af poolen med udsigt, privat strandområde og have. We used to stay at a big hotel in Rangiroa, but really prefer the villa, more advantages. It has a real pool on the beach (not just a small one with no view) and the villa opens up to a stunning lagoon! The villa is large, spacious, modern, super clean, and very comfortable. We loved: - beautiful pool in front of the sea - the entire place opening up to the sea - Air conditioning in the living room, dining room, and kitchen (hard to find in Polynesia) - few small restaurants less than 5 minutes away by car and a supermarket just 3 minutes away on foot - Louis picking us up on the beach for excursions to the Blue Lagoon! - kayak trips were amazing - super comfortable beds - a private garden with no neighbors, the river, and the beach We can't wait to come back next year for two weeks this time! Thanks to Jonathan and Kateryna for all their help during our stay!

It is a really beautiful bungalow, perfect for a couple to stay. Every morning, the host greeted us with a fresh baguette and fruits from their garden. The Wi-Fi is strong and absolute stable. There is a fully equipped kitchen. We could use their bicycles anytime. Transport from and to the airport was also arranged.

This place is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely well located. I was in both of the high-end hotels on Rangiroa during my stay, and I felt that Rangiroa Cottage was just as nice. If you prefer the independence of staying in a home, then this is a far superior option. On top of that, it is much cheaper.

Large and light house, big beds, lots of room. Everything you need for a simple stay in a paradise. Big green garden in the sun, but no sitting and shaded arrangements. The hosts provided drinking water, and it was cooled. A couple of minutes walk to the lagoon on one side or to the Pacific on the other side. There is no public beach, and this property doesn't have a beach, but you can easily get into the water - on the lagoon side (where the beach is owned by other hotels/guest housers) or on the Pacific side (where the beach is free and the waves are huge). Only cold water in the house, but it worked fine, wasn't a problem at all. No crazy crowing roosters to spoil your sleep, but barking dogs :-) There is an excellent restaurant and a bar in Kia Ora hotel 5 min walk - highly recommended.
