Birdsong Cottage is a recently renovated holiday home in Paraparaumu, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Birdsong Cottage blew me out of the water -- it's gorgeous, calming, immaculate and the hosts, Susan and Gavin, go above and beyond in ways that make you feel more like whānau than guests. The cottage is very pretty, clean and extremely comfortable with much evidence of attention to detail. I asked if I could check in earlier since I was checking out of a previous lodging at 10am and Susan was truly accomodating although it was a big ask. I took advantage of the property's stunning aesthetic with photos galore and spent most of the time on the porch with wine or coffee. I am a big Tūī fan, so it was an absolute dream and the hosts are mindful to make sure that birding is optimal on the property. At their kind insistence, Susan offered me fresh eggs and Gavin drove me to the Paraparaumu airport. Stunning experience, I cannot recommend it enough.

Located in Wellington, near Wellington Botanical Gardens and Beehive Parliament Building, the historic Thorndon Heritage Listed Villa features a garden. It’s so beautiful and much bigger than the photos make it look. It is well equipped with interesting travel books to read. We wish we could have stayed longer!

I highly recommend this place. The hosts were very hospitable friendly and reliable. There was everything we needed and it was spotless, clean tidy and great interior decor. Off-street parking a bonus. Fenced off property with private back yard and outdoor area, perfect for our little dog. Everything provided for breakfast, great value for money. Very comfortable beds. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Sunny Glen Cottage is located in Waikanae and offers barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Have stayed before and had breakfast supplied. Although not advertised they provided us a selection of things for breakfast. A lovely homely place to stay.

The Vicarage Martinborough is located in Martinborough. This self-contained cottage is set amongst picturesque private gardens. It offers a patio and BBQ facilities. Easy walk to town. Lovely open space with tasteful decor. It was a quiet and peaceful place. Enjoyed the outdoor table as well for dining.

There is something truly magical about this place. I extended my stay twice because it was that good. It is simplistic yet elegant. The location is peaceful and private. The bed is comfortable. The outside bath is amazing at night under the stars. Everything u need is here for u to use. Highly recommend to anyone.
