Birdsong Cottage blew me out of the water -- it's gorgeous, calming, immaculate and the hosts, Susan and Gavin, go above and beyond in ways that make you feel more like whānau than guests. The cottage is very pretty, clean and extremely comfortable with much evidence of attention to detail. I asked if I could check in earlier since I was checking out of a previous lodging at 10am and Susan was truly accomodating although it was a big ask. I took advantage of the property's stunning aesthetic with photos galore and spent most of the time on the porch with wine or coffee. I am a big Tūī fan, so it was an absolute dream and the hosts are mindful to make sure that birding is optimal on the property. At their kind insistence, Susan offered me fresh eggs and Gavin drove me to the Paraparaumu airport. Stunning experience, I cannot recommend it enough.

Featuring free WiFi and a patio, Sunny Glen Cottage is a holiday home, situated in Waikanae. The air-conditioned unit is 39 km from Lower Hutt and 60 km from Wellington. We enjoyed the fresh fruit and range of cereals and bread for breakfast. The location is near to the Waikanae shops and right next to the river trail which was great for walks and bike riding. It's only a 45 minute bike ride or a short drive to Waikanae Beach which is great for swimming.

Excellent heating for the cooler nights and the living areas catch the sun in the day, Five minutes walk to the town square and a short drive or easy walk (for us) to the many of the vineyards. Could not fault the cleanliness and all amenities are there for a short or longer stay.

The apartment was superb. Brand new, clean, great facilities. Excellent location, close to city center. Superstay is superb in getting in touch and updating us with details prior to check-in Minor suggestion, maybe it's a good idea to let the client know which flat number we check in into, since there are 6 others there...
