This was a delightful cottage in a great location. It was a huge advantage that we had a hire car but I don’t know how often the local bus service would come to this area. To be able to drive 3 minutes around the lake to see sunset and sunrise on Mt Fuji was unbelievable.

The rooms were also comfortable for our stay. The house also had everything well stocked up! We had some difficulties locating the key but thankfully we could communicate in chinese with the owner and managed to get ourselves in soon after. We had also left some clothes behind and the owner was very kind to send it over to us at our next location in Japan. We received it within 2 days! Thank you for the memorable stay!

This home exceeded our expectations. It's located near the bus stop to Subaru 5th station. The beds are traditional Japanese futons and are very comfy. We climbed Fuji and then spent a day here to recover. One of our most memorable stays in Japan.
