Our host (Toru) went above and beyond, picking us up from the station as our bus came in late, taking us to the grocery store as we arrived on a public holiday and nothing was open, spending lots of time showing us around our accomodation and the sights of the local area. We loved the authentic Japanese style of the house and so close to Mt Fuji and the local sights nearby. A lovely experience and a lovely host.

The two-story room was spacious, very clean and welcoming. The staff was incredibly attentive. Having meals prepared fresh each day was amazing and the quality of the food was the best! I was overwhelmed by the quantity of food provided and struggled because I didn’t want to waste anything. I think they should make the meals fewer courses. The free toiletries were very luxurious!

Not much tourist and in an ideal location. The guesthouse and neighborhood is charming and will give you a glimpse of Japanese village living.

This is honestly the best hotel we have ever stayed at in our lives. You get a gorgeous, full view of mount fuji from the room and also from the private onsen. We had a dedicated butler who showed us around and served us a splendid 11 course Kaiseki dinner prepared by the private chef. There are only 3 units here so everything felt very private and luxurious. From the electric kettle, tea cups, cutlery to the hairdryer, all the brands were premium. Will most definitely be back again!
We had an amazing time, the host went above and beyond. He found last minute dinner reservations for our large group and even had drinks and a warm bath waiting when we returned. Plenty of space to accommodate large groups and directly in the village so very easy to walk and see everything. We woke up to a stunning view of Mt.
Fuji.
