The house was lovely, and perfect for a secluded, relaxed stay near Mt fuji. The surrounding valley is beautiful and only a short drive from lots of hikes, lakes, and Mt fuji itself. We stayed 2 nights but could definitely have stayed more

This house is beautiful. Old and full of charm. It's out of the way (you'll need a car to get to it) but that's part of its appeal. The staff were friendly (they cook/prepare the dinner if you opted for it) but didn't overstay their welcome.
The area around the house is wonderful from someone used to cities in Japan more than anything else.

Friendly host who stayed nearby if you need any help. Showed us his farm & suggest places of interest. Speak simple English. Nicely renovated house & with good views of Mt Fuji. Drove Toyota Corolla there & just have to be carefully/slowly. Have asked the host to provide the easy route to his house in future, as google map might not be accurate. Special thanks to the wonderful host.
