Less than 1 km from Nijo Castle in the centre of Kyoto, 谷町君・星屋旅館・神泉ノ宿 二条城 features accommodation with free WiFi and access to a garden and hot tub. This villa offers accommodation with a patio. The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed as a family. It was clean and tidy and secure. The staff cleaning and looking after the property were friendly and very helpful. We had a problem with the AC and they sorted it out immediately.

In the Ukyo Ward district of Shimo saga, close to Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 谷町君・星屋・談山旅館 京都嵐山 has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. Everything was nice. It was just amazing for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We loved it so much we booked another night :-)

In the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Rinn Tsukinowa has a garden and a washing machine. It was an amazing property and furnished very nice. We enjoyed the rooms, bathroom, living room, pyjamas ( haha ) and eveything. If we return to Kyoto, we will not stay at any other place. Rinn Tsukimowa impressed us very much ! It is a high quality place. I highly recommend!

In the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kyoto Station, Kyoto Villa Kotone has a garden, free WiFi and a washing machine. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a balcony. Excellent location, fantastic house. Convenient to everything you want or could need. James, the owner, goes above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay at the house and time in kyoto. His guidebook on what buses to take to attractions was incredibly helpful, and the wall map to show what attraction is in which direction. The 3 bedrooms upstairs allowed our family of 5 to have space, and the upstairs and downstairs toilet was very helpful. The house is located from the west exit at kyoto station, near JR office and trains.

Well set in the centre of Kyoto, Kyoto Villa Ninja offers a balcony, air conditioning, free WiFi and flat-screen TV. The 3-star holiday home features garden views and is 1.4 km from Nijo Castle. This is the most incredible place to stay. A must do for everyone.

Kyoisuke offers accommodation within 700 metres of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. It exceeded our expectation. The property looked and felt as the pictures show. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. A true traditional town house that perfectly matches the Kyoto culture. The property was close to many restaurants and cafes. The Macha tea ceremony was great at our Arrival. A bonus.

Set in a building with a garden, Inari Ohan is a renovated traditional Japanese-style holiday home located in Kyoto that provides free WiFi. This was probably my favourite out of all the places we stayed on our trip. The design was super cute and there was a lot of space to spread out. It was also in a great location with restaurants and the station nearby. The amenities were good and the wifi was fast.
