The refurbished house itself and our apartment for 6 people was excellent From early luggage storage and check-in, keys collection till check out. Everything is new and in top condition. Massage chair was surprise. Room with tatami and another with double bed were comfortable. Too high-end toilets, shower and outside bathtub. Even switches controlling lights were unordinary. Kitchen well equiped. I would like to come back and for sure will recommend. Location was also very comfortable, short distance to train and convinient stores.

This is a great place to stay for when you want to have your own private quiet space (and a bit more space than a typical hotel room), but still want to be cared for by hotel-like staff. We landed on this place because I wanted to stay in a typical Ryokan, but my husband wanted his own bathroom. It was the best stay of our Japan trip out of 3 hotels that were all far above average. It feels very secluded and private, there are around 10 apartments in total and everyone has their own entrance. There's a coin washing machine as well. There is a small breakfast buffet with really great coffee and they provide some free snacks during the day as well I believe. All in all it feels really kind and caring.

In the Ukyo Ward district of Shimo saga, close to Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 谷町君・星屋・談山旅館 京都嵐山 has a garden and a washing machine. Everything was nice. It was just amazing for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We loved it so much we booked another night :-)

As there's an accident (I lost my wallet at Nagoya) on my first day of the trip. I could not met him to get a key on time. We check in quite late at night. Jame san also come to see us at night to advise on everything and also explain on all lighting and electornics stuff work. - I like living and dining area which we can common use with our family. play game, chat. If you travel with family. this place is a perfect choice for you. - I stay here for 6 nights. Total 5 persons with 2 kids.

The top address to stay during a trip in Kyoto. It’s a really nice place to stay. We enjoyed every moment. The host was very kind and explained not only the facilities but also showed us what you can do in and around Kyoto. Villa Ninja is a great place created with lots of details.
