Basically, everything about this property, it's in a good location centrally to some of Kyoto's most famous landmarks. Staff were beyond pleasant and easy to deal with. The property is amazing (unfortunately, my wife wants me to recreate something similar in Australia 🤣). I couldn't recommend it highly enough, would 10/10 rebook this property.

Shoren-in Temple is 1.4 km from the holiday home and Heian Shrine is 2.4 km away. Everything was great! Location is few mins walk to all cafe's, restaurants, stores and tourist spots! Very well maintained. Staff was so nice and wonderful giving all information and providing free taxi going to your townhouse! We will definitely comeback at Rinn!

Beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable bed, luxurious shower/bath and staff who went above and beyond. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it twice as long as originally planned.
Loved the availability to check in early for a very small fee and the location is amazing. The apartment style is excellent too as it was ample room with the kitchenette separate from the bath and the bedroom. Small closet was helpful plus desk and side tables. Even having a hallway felt like a luxury. Towels and bath supplies were very luxurious and I would stay here again. Location was super good -- close to a shrine, a shopping street and of course a short walk to Gion. Loved this!
For Japan, we got a very spacious room with big bed. The hotel gives you a feeling of luxury and is also aesthetically pleasing. Delicious breakfasts, good location.
The ammenities were amazing, the onsen was so nice and so was the bedroom; the lady running the place was an absolute gem and was so nice to speak with every day. Made it feel like you were returning home to a home stay every night :) The whole room would be cleaned, fresh towels and robes each day with a new snack on the bedside. It was truly luxury.
Easily the most stylish hotel I have been to. Every room features an installation of art. We have been to "My Room" containing a play of images and lights depicting Kyoto. The rooms are big for Japanese dimensions, the bathroom quite luxurious. The hotel is perfect for visiting Kyoto and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Total recommendation!
Probably one of the best hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Welcome drink was a nice touch, staff were friendly and informative. Room was contemporary and well equipped. The shower and toilet were fantastic. A luxurious room for a reasonable price.

This is a beautiful 100 year old home that has been made into two townhouses/villas. It was very comfortable with two bedrooms and 2 toilets. The downstairs bathroom has one indoor and one outdoor private bathtub. The property manager came to provide an overview of the home, taught us how to make macha tea, and made sure we understood how to use the facilities in great English. She also made reservations for us for dinner and for getting cabs to take us to the train station the next morning.
