Chitose san is really the highlight of this beautiful property! She's very kind and helpful and always cheerful. She gave us some really great recommendations. The property is typically Japanese yet luxurious. It has very thoughtful little touches and great coffee (Nespresso)! While some folks have commented the breakfast is ok, I thought it was quite nice. It's not lavish but its a nicely assembled bento.

We've been traveling around Japan for about a month and this is by far the best place we've stayed. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was a fantastic place to stay for our family. The house had everything we needed, the views out the backdoor were amazing, and the town was a hidden gem. SORAMACHI - Vacation STAY 14338nằm ngay trung tâm Takayama, chỉ cách Bảo tàng Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village 3.5 km và Gero Station 49 km. Soramachi was a very comfortable house with good facilities. Probably the most spacious and nicest accomodation we experienced in our travels through Japan. Only stayed 2 nights but it provided a relaxing and quiet break from the crowds elsewhere. The house is right on the river and close to a tranquil temple walk and public bathhouse . It is an easy walk from there to the old quarter and we walked to the house with luggage from the station ( 1.4 km). The owners are obviously very house proud and welcoming. Highly recommend this accomodation.
