Renovated in 2015, IORI Stay HIDA offers accommodation in Hida. This traditional Japanese-style townhouse boasts designs with both modern and traditional Japanese influence. Hida is a magical little town and this lovely apartment is the perfect base. It is situated along the canal, beautifully designed with traditional decor and modern amenities. A gorgeous breakfast is delivered each day, and the host is more than generous with helpful advice and special treats. We didn’t want to leave!

Renovated in 2015, IORI Stay is nestled in Takayama. This traditional Japanese-style townhouse was created in collaboration with local artists and boasts designs with both modern and traditional... Nate received us at the venue, as we were 1 hr earlier then check-in time. We got a lot of information on what to do, where to go and what to visit! The room was spacious and probarly the most comfortable one that we stayed in. We recomended the venue to friends that will go to Japan next year! There is a spa with sauna and warm bath, available to rent; it was raining a lot when we where there, so we spend an hour and half in there and what a choise!

Exquisitely renovated with an artistic eye for detail! It was so comfortable, and it was very lovely to experience traditional ryokan style with such a cool contemporary edge. we thoroughly enjoyed the property and the city. Loved the traditional key to get in!! it was a gorgeous touch. The bathroom is fabulous, and stocked with everything you can imagine. The kitchen is also gorgeous and stocked with everything you need to prepare food, plus an eclectic collection of ceramics.

Generous layout. Spotlessly clean. Easy to walk everywhere. Air con kept us lovely and warm. Great supply in kitchen of basics that made things easier.
