The moment we walked in the cottage, we all loved it! Cozy and warm, and the view from the window was beautiful! Kitchen was fully equipped, also a booklet there to show guests how facilities work and some nice introductions about the cottages & the hosts. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. We didn’t see the horse but did see two cut dogs on the day we left. We stayed for two nights and only wish we could stay longer! This is an ideal place for people to unwind after a day exploring Iceland. We recommend this place to everyone!

As a solo female traveler I felt very safe here & the owners are very friendly.

Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to spend a few nights in the Golden Circle area.

Loved that the hot tub was already warm for us. Communication from staff was great when needed. We read the listing so knew exactly what was included and could prepare well for tea etc. It was in a great location and we even saw the northern lights. A lovely change from hotels. So peaceful, we could recharge our batteries after long days of driving loads.
