Loved the cosy design and attention to details. The communication with the owner was perfect too. She even showed us around the stables :) definitely recommend!

Featuring mountain views, Gljásteinn by Golden Circle features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 29 km from Thingvellir National Park. EVERYTHING! We had 2 weeks in Iceland and travelled around the country. We stayed in 5 different locations, all special and unique. But Gljásteinn was a little corner of paradise. Róbert built his house with so much passion and love and respect for the nature around it, it is very impressive. He was there to guide us, to give us some good tips about where to eat, what to explore, and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

The house was exceptionally clean, the hosts were so helpful and welcoming! There is even a pizza knife in the kitchen. The best part was seeing the northern lights right from the house! Strongly recommend!

This holiday home offers accommodation with a patio.... The place was very clean. It smelt clean, fresh bedding and towels. Communication and location was great.

Arctic Exclusive Ranch is set in Kirkjubæjarklaustur and offers barbecue facilities. This holiday home features a garden and free private parking. Everything! It was magical to stay in these little house/chalet. With my partner, we didn't book properly for what we wanted, but the host re-accommodated us in no time and we are super thankful for it as it was an unbelievable night and place to see northern lights. Definitely a cute romantic getaway as well. Everything was really modern in the little house we've had and it is fully equipped to cook and such. Quiet place and really comfortable.

Set in Fludir, Mosas cottages offers accommodation 33 km from Geysir and 43 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Great cottage in the golden circle, comfortable, it has everything you need. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked great. Totally recommended

Featuring a hot tub, Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub is set in Reykholt. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. First of all, that location was fantastic. A small cabin on top of the hill -just doesn’t get any better than that.  And the cabinet south was very compact, but with good use of space. The bed was exceptional (and I never rave about holiday beds!).

Featuring garden views, Midholl guesthouse provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 48 km from Ljosifoss. Nice little guesthouse in the countryside with everything you would need. It was clean and the host was really helpful.

Set in Hella and only 22 km from Thjofafoss, Afternoon Cottages offers accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden views. I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Iceland. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The cottage was super clean and had everything needed for our stay. Hopefully I will have a chance to visit it again :)
