The atmosphere of the pub is excellent and staff incredibly friendly. Nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything specific. We didn't expect 5 star luxury at the very reasonable price we paid, which meant we were not disappointed with anything. Breakfast was delicious especially the full English. Room/bed was very comfortable. . Perfectly placed for Chatsworth and surrounding villages/walks. Wonderful stay anyway.
The holiday village and grounds were very pleasant and relaxing. First impressions the cottage was nice and well equipped. Nice quality bedding and towels. Pretty location overlooking the lake.
A lovely little apartment that offers everything you need. It's located right in the city centre in close proximity to the park and some shops. Great to have the private parking spot and the little seating area outside. The furniture and equipment did have a luxurious touch and were in perfect condition so I'd say 'The Luxury Apartment' definitely deserves its name. Great instructions for arrival etc and in general very attentive and caring hosts.
Very central to Buxton and all it offers. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, it was a home away from home.Well supplied with all you need. available parking. I would highly recommend staying at Cavendish Villas.
holiday village was really beautiful, the cottage was clean and spacious.
We were welcomed by a generous hamper full of lovely food and a bottle of sparkling wine. The cottage was spacious, very clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. It was exceptionally well-equipped with all essential items and more. I especially loved all the luxurious bubbles and shampoos in the bathroom. We also enjoyed the boardgames and mah-jong. The location was great with just a 10 minutes scenic drive from the town of Bakewell. The village itself was beautiful with outstanding views all around.
The cottage was beautiful, and in the perfect location in the village. The hosts communicated well and even came to bring us extra firewood due to the snow. The bed was so comfortable and the bath a luxury. I could not fault a thing.
The location was great 5 min walk onto village. Pubs shops, restaurants, great fish and chip shops. Staff at the retreat where great, very wellcoming and friendly. Room was excellent very fun and great for family's and big kids like us haha.
