The house is perfect- very well appointed. Great kitchen, beds and bathrooms. Lovely views even when it was raining. Very well located for Stromness, Kirkwall and the world heritage sites we wanted to see.

Beautiful location. Feels remote (a retreat,indeed), yet close to some of Orkney‘s major sights. Perfectly equipped with everything you need. Small, but with some very clever ideas to make use of the space.
Everything was perfect !! The location was a short drive from Kirkwall which meant we had the opportunity to visit some of the smaller villages enroute. Teresa and Malcolm, our hosts, welcomed us into their home and gave us many insightful tips about Orkney that made our trip run more smoothly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious each day and the room was generous in size with quality inclusions and a most incredible view! We most certainly recommend this accommodation for visitors to Orkney !!
A great location on the edge of Pierowall, the main village on Westray. A traditional cottage, furnished traditionally with some mod cons, but don’t expect a modern luxury house. Lovely big comfortable queen size bed. Dog friendly with a yard, garden area straight outside the back door. 10 minute walk to the hotel pub/restaurant, which does excellent and inexpensive food, dogs allowed in the back bar. Food stores 3 minutes walk away.

Gina, Suzanne and team friendly and welcoming. Well designed and spotless rooms in this picturesque village. An excellent base from which to explore these islands. Very good breakfast and the seafood platter for dinner is a must! It has to be said that The Orkneys has some of the best seafood in the UK. You'll find a good chef here and I look forward to returning!
Location was great in lovely quiet village. Staff could not do enough for you and the meals were superb especially dinner.

Lovely warm and cosy hotel in the centre of the attractive village of Saint Margaret’s Hope and in a perfect location to explore the island. Very comfortable and nicely decorated rooms.
