And after nearly 2 weeks in B&Bs, it was nice to be able to spread out and have a little more space to ourselves. The bed and furniture were comfy. Having our own equipped kitchen (w/garden view!) and washing machine was especially nice; there’s a small grocer in nearby (and also lovely) Melrose - the Co-Op on High Street - where you can pick up the essentials, like coffee (French Press!).

Well located, perfectly set out, great facilities including TV streaming and fast wi fi -- essential for the younger members of our party. Great touches too -- chilled water, biscuits, coffee and tea for our arrival, loads of local information. Immaculate too. Log burner wasn't necessary for our summer stay but would be great in cooler weather. Host was really helpful prior to our arrival.
