The hosts were quick to respond when needed. There is street parking out front which was quite convenient. We walked over the chain bridge into Melrose (coffee, pubs, Melrose Abbey, groceries) which was lovely. There was coffee, tea and milk at the flat which was a nice touch & the view out to the garden so beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find hair dryers with diffuser attachments! Everything was comfortable and clean, 10/10.

Rustic Lodge Retreat at Riverview Holiday Park is set in Newcastleton, 38 km from Cumbria County Council, 38 km from Carlisle Railway Station, as well as 39 km from Carlisle Castle. It was a cold summer day and I was elated there was a fire place! A really comfortable place, I would loved to have stayed for a week!

A lovely bungalow in a very quiet spot. Not only was the bungalow lovely but there was access to the garden, which was well kept and visited by many wildlife, so very pleasant to sit out in. The location was also excellent as it was easy to access Peebles and go for many walks.
