The hotel is very comfortable, modern and clean. It feels like in a luxury mountain hut. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had.
An excellent ghasthoff in a lovely quiet village. With an onsite restaurant and beer garden with, the addition of safe parking for a motorcycle.
We rented the balcony room (4). It was so worth it; a superb view of the castle and a welcome place to sit with coffee from the cafe on the ground floor. The location is absolute perfection with reasonable overnight parking a 3 min walk away. (P2). Make sure you go to the Biergarten down the alley across the street, then climb and walk the town wall. A magical village with welcoming people.
Villa Katharina is a very special hotel, outside the center, in a quite hilly area, which we liked. Good exercise. Glad we stayed two nights to get used. Room is well equipped and luxury. Breakfast is special, as each guest can specify how to get the hot food. Bamberg is also special with two canals surrounding the old town.
Best hotel we have stayed in. We loved the room design. Everything was functional, minimal and very well thought through. No silly clutter. Room was spacious and well insulated. You couldn't hear the street or the other guests at all. Thick luxurious curtains, not a ray of light comes through if, like me, you prefer it nice and dark at night. Air conditioning was a big bonus since it was 30+ celcius outside. Bathroom was sheer luxury. Staff was very helpful and yet we were given our privacy. Thank you all!
The apartment was very luxurious, everything that we needed was there.. and more. Beautiful decorations, comfortable beds. Near the highway, in a sleepy, cute village.

Very nice and large appartment. The appartment is located in a very peaceful village. All the equipment was luxurious.
Excellent hotel, staff couldn't do enough to help. Really comfy large bed, coffee machine in the room and mini fridge. We have never experienced such a varied and wonderful breakfast every morning - bacon, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, delicious! A peaceful and luxurious retreat in the Bavarian Alps, we came home refreshed and relaxed. You won't be disappointed!
