Great place for a stay in Berchtesgaden. Good location for touring the area. Salzberg is only a 20-minute drive, along with great walks, Konigsee and Khelsteinhouse all nearby. Great hosts who were very friendly and helpful when needed. Would definitely recommend when visiting the area.

A very cosy vacation rental that feels very much like home. The house is well equipped with almost everything. The house owner Andi had kindly asked if we needed rice cooker, which came in very handy for us. She also set a welcome gift for us upon arrival, truly lovely. The location of the house is perfect with the amenities and tourist attractions abt 10mins drive away. Overall we had a wonderful stay at Ferienhaus Bergvagabund and Andi was just a great kind hearted host.

Wonderful location. Host was very kind. Apartment had what we needed. Easy access to Salzburg. Fantastic access to Eagles Nest, Königsee and sommerrodelbahn Keltenblitz. Also easy to walk into the village center for restaurants and grabbing groceries.
The Residenz is great, located in a small quiet village. The Eagle's Nest is reachable from here only by foot. The room had everything needed, nice and clean bathroom, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The Check-in is only until 6pm, but there is a possibility to pick up the keys from the key safe in case of later arrival which was a very nice surprise. Its not the cheapest accommodation especially counting in the tax for the stay, but we enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back in case we would be in this region.
The views and scenery surrounding the hotel are beautiful! The rooms are large, super clean, and have a nice balcony overlooking the village. The breakfast was fabulous!!
Location great- I mean views and nature around you. Room is big, lot of space in Bathroom. Staff is friendly, hospitable and professional. In the village is really good energy. They sell really good beer.

Everything about this charming hotel was a delight! The warm and friendly staff, the spacious rooms, the hotel facilities and decor, the abundant breakfast... Hotel Alpina Ros Demming, nestled in the mountains and a short walk to the main village area, beautifully mixes old-world charm with modern amenitites . If I am ever back in the area, this will be my go-to hotel!
