You can tell the person in charge cares about maintenance and does a good job at it. The pool was cleaned everyday, I asked for more sheets and towels and they were provided right away. Communication was excellent and easy via Whatsapp. Highly recommended for a group of four or family with kids. Very private, you can hear the monkeys howling and all kinds of birds chirping. Close to all main beaches (Cocles, Puerto Viejo and my fave, Punta Uva).

Offering an outdoor pool and water sports facilities, New Caribe Point is located in Cahuita in the Limon Region. Puerto Viejo is 14 km away. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

It was great to relax and get away from the business of the city. The house was the exactly as the pictures, everything was clean and had everything that we need it! We spend a lot of time in the terrace enjoying the trees and nature. Guapiles is 10 min away driving, that was good to pick up food or just had food order in by uber eats, that was convinient. We will definitely stay again in La Quintanesesncia!!
