Walking distance to both rocks. Very clean. Working wall fan. Mosquito net over the bed (though I didn’t need it). Great condition bathroom relative to similarly priced guesthouses.
Owners were lovely. Had some communication challenges, but they were very generous. I was given a quick tour of their coconut farm (and enjoyed a few!), and offered rides on their family TikTok to the rocks. Food is also an optional extra, and it’s very fresh and substantial.
Nice airflow in the property. Was still comfortable without aircon.

We had an excellent stay in our very large family chalet with private plunge pool. The owners are very friendly and like to accommodate you as much as possible. We had our laundry done and had a delicious dinner and royal breakfast at their restaurant. The communal pool area is also very nice. Highly recommended!

The villas are huge and clean. I loved the natural setting of this place. I enjoyed the inside, outside shower (lots of privacy but open to the sky).

It was an absolutely stunning, quiet, calm place inside a jungle but very close proximity to the town.

Breath taking. The villas are incredible you could not ask for anything else. But if you did the staff would move heaven and earth to provide it. The restaurant and pool are world class. The staff were so polite, pleasant and attentive. Brilliant from the moment we arrived to the day we left.
We had a wonderful stay at Mutu village tree house. We stayed in one of the treehouses, which are very luxurious. The open air shower and bathtub are simply amazing. And last but not least, the manager Ajith was extremely helpful with almost everything. He even managed to get us train tickets from Kandy to Ella, which officially were sold out, at no extra cost. This is a place we can highly recommend!
The resort is perfectly integrated in the nature with spacious and clean rooms in vintage design. The staff made our stay extremely comfortable with their kindness, generosity and care. This is a place to go for reflection, relaxation and a drop of adventure. It has a beautiful garden, a lovely swimming pool and a peaceful ambiance. We will definitely be returning to Taru Villas. We loved it!
