Elvas the Queen Residence is set in Elvas, within 20 km of Badajoz Fortress and 200 metres of Municipal Library of Elvas. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The property is non-smoking and is situated 20 km from El Corte Ingles. My host Richard was fabulous. He took the time to show me where to park my car in the complex old city streets, actually accompanying me and then walking me back to his immaculate place. He was charming, knowledgeable and made the whole stay perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough, and at the price, the best lodging experience in my entire travel in Portugal.

It's perfect for families, especially if you have pets and want to stay a mile or two outside of the city. We had a very comfortable two bedroom with several patios. The pool is heated and provides a perfect space to spend an afternoon. Our dog, Maddi, was welcomed and able to go everywhere, which is such a rarity for hotels in Portugal. Breakfast was consistently delicious during our stay. My husband had the pork cheeks for dinner via room service and was very impressed! Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely space for us to stay.

Great location inside the city walls right next to the castle. There was a super outside terrace with a hot tub under an orange tree; a great place to relax after a busy day out! The kitchen, dining, living room was very spacious and very well-appointed with everything one could want. The bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean with plenty of storage space.
