Very secluded and peaceful location. A definite sense of history in the buildings yet but modern villas far better than expected. It has everything you would need with the kitchen and refrigerator.

We cycled into town just before the storm hit. We were allowed to park our precious touring bikes inside the apartment where they were safe and dry. My favorite part of the stay was the loving care given to the apartment by Maria. Ironed and perfumed sheets, kitchen and bath towels, tablecloths, and napkins. Lace doilies on all surfaces like my grandmother used to crochet, An enormous gift basket of fresh oranges, walnuts, pears apples, and bananas. We stayed three days and it rained the whole time, so I made use of the best-stocked kitchen I’ve seen since I left home five years ago. I made banana bread and apple crisp with the fruit. Soups and casseroles. We washed all our smelly cycling clothes in the washing machine provided. Three balconies allowed us to have coffee with the sunrise on one side and happy hour sunset on the other. There was a bathtub to read and relax in during the bad weather. Bubble bath, candles, and Portuguese wine. What more can you ask for? I can‘t tell you what the town looked like because we never left the apartment. Maria was kind, communicative, and personable. She met us at the apartment and showed us around, something that happened rarely during our stay in Portugal. Lastly, the price was an absolute steal. We felt spoiled rotten!

It was a lovely and roomy apartment. Only the bathrooms were a little cramped. But there were two of them!
Lots of facilities to enjoy in the apartment and on the wider grounds.
The view from the roof terrace was spectacular.

Location (town) was pleasant. Street parking was available with no cost out front. It was nice that there was a courtyard. The unit was not expensive and has access to a full, shared, kitchen.

Super comfy and clean with the friendliest staff. We stayed in the little studio and the kitchenette was well equipped for us to make most meals. Which we are enjoyed in the little courtyard. Walking distance everywhere, with a 5 year old in tow. We we’re very happy and would gladly repeat.
Super cute volunteers, they do a great job. Breakfast is nice, but quality could be better (croissants and bread, I have the feeling they take sometimes the stuff from th day before. I like that this is done (against foodwaste). So you need to toast it. Mabe a bigger toaster. Kitchen is cool.
A feeling that you entered a Portuguese family home! The superlovely host couple plus superbly stocked kitchen and welcoming rooms! The big space enabled everybody privacy and the tucked away terrace/garden was a great place to chill too. Added bonus - different board games and such a nice touch of cold beers and wine left for us as a welcome. Easy to park, nicelooking street.
Ideal, rather remote, quiet (helped by not being fully booked) location with a great view over (and walks down to) the estuary. Breakfast, delivered in a basket, was excellent and was almost generous enough to provide for lunch as well. The kitchenette was well equipped and gave the option of self-catering.
