Elvas the Queen Residence is set in Elvas, within 20 km of Badajoz Fortress and 200 metres of Municipal Library of Elvas. My host Richard was fabulous. He took the time to show me where to park my car in the complex old city streets, actually accompanying me and then walking me back to his immaculate place. He was charming, knowledgeable and made the whole stay perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough, and at the price, the best lodging experience in my entire travel in Portugal.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of garden, Quinta da Amendoeira - Évora - The Farmhouse is a recently renovated farm stay set in Évora, 3.5 km from Cathedral of Evora Se. Such a lovely, quiet location! It's perfect for families, especially if you have pets and want to stay a mile or two outside of the city. We had a very comfortable two bedroom with several patios. The pool is heated and provides a perfect space to spend an afternoon. Our dog, Maddi, was welcomed and able to go everywhere, which is such a rarity for hotels in Portugal. Breakfast was consistently delicious during our stay. My husband had the pork cheeks for dinner via room service and was very impressed! Thank you to the owners for creating such a lovely space for us to stay.

T2, Casa Sol e Mar 50464/AL is a beachfront property situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 300 metres from Franquia Beach and 700 metres from Praia Carreiro da Fazenda. It was a lovely stay, the flat is spacious, clean, comfortable. The hosts were super nice, they even left us some fresh fruit and nuts. Thank you!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, A Janela Do Castelo is situated in Monsaraz. Great location inside the city walls right next to the castle. There was a super outside terrace with a hot tub under an orange tree; a great place to relax after a busy day out! The kitchen, dining, living room was very spacious and very well-appointed with everything one could want. The bedrooms were comfortable, spacious and clean with plenty of storage space.

Almoura Ladeira is located in Évora, 500 metres from Roman Temple of Evora, 600 metres from Chapel of Bones, and 500 metres from Igreja de Sao Joao Evangelista. The location of the property was very convenient, and the kind touches from the hostess: wine, bottle of water, tea and coffee, even candies on our bed!
