Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Lonsdale House Luxury Apartments offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at Longsdale House Luxury Apartments in Ulverston. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was impressive – from the cozy bedding to the thoughtful touches like complimentary toiletries and a well-stocked kitchen. The living space was spacious yet cozy, making it ideal for both relaxing and spending quality family time. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to local attractions while still being tucked away in a peaceful, charming area. Doodle Den is set in Kendal, 36 km from Trough of Bowland, 38 km from Askham Hall, and 49 km from Derwentwater. Fantastic flat near town centre amenities. We only live locally but used as stopover when attending a gig at Brewery Arts which is short walk away, as are the towns bars and restaurants. Decor is stylish and modern, but cosy and fittings are to a high standard. Easy check in/out and helpful owners. Highly recommend:)

Situated in Maryport, 29 km from Buttermere and 34 km from Derwentwater, Bells yard Apartment features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The property was warm and cozy! Really well decorated throughout .The property provided with everything we would need with an extra basket provided with little bits of different cereal which was a nice touch! Communication was great! Really easy to get in! We was warned about the stairs been steep but we didn't have an issue at all with stairs inside or outside these didn't affect us in any way!

Located 18 km from Buttermere, 1 The Croft provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Location was fab and had everything you needed.

Situated in Whitehaven and only 29 km from Wasdale, Bobs plac features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Bob is a great person and very caring. Waited until midnight for us to hand over the keys. I would love to stay in this place again.

A recently renovated apartment located in Kendal, La'al Lodge in Kendal (The Gateway to the Lakes) features a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from World of Beatrix Potter. I had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Surprisingly the weather in the UK was quite warm and I was very happy about the air conditioning. I find it truly impressive that every detail has been thought of.

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Millom, 42 km from Lake Windermere, 43 km from Wasdale, as well as 49 km from Scafell Pike. The location was excellent, we had a lovely view of the ocean and it was very accessible by car. The holiday home is warm, cosy and well-equipped to meet needs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, would definitely return again if I'm in the area.

Set in Ambleside, 10 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 17 km from Lake Windermere and 28 km from Derwentwater, Grayling Cottage offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The cottage is absolutely lovely. It has a great kitchen with everything you need to be self catering. The living room has a comfortable space in which to relax. The bed was very comfortable with a skylight cover which was great! It enables you to block out the light when the sun rises at 4:30 in the morning. The bathroom is amazing with a big shower. There was a very effective fan in the cottage which was really wonderful since we had pretty warm days and it helped to cool down the space. The entire cottage has been artfully decorated and was spotlessly clean. There is interesting lighting throughout the space. There is a small outer area with a table that is fenced in if you had a dog. The cottage is off the Main Street so it was very quiet but just minutes from the main part of town so easy walking to trailheads, shopping and restaurants. There is a small grocery store within a few minutes walk. There was parking available within a reasonable distance of the cottage. The owners were very responsive to our questions.
