We only live locally but used as stopover when attending a gig at Brewery Arts which is short walk away, as are the towns bars and restaurants. Decor is stylish and modern, but cosy and fittings are to a high standard. Easy check in/out and helpful owners. Highly recommend:)

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina er gististaður með garði og bar í Millom, 42 km frá Windermere-vatni, 43 km frá Wasdale og 49 km frá Scafell Pike. The location was excellent, we had a lovely view of the ocean and it was very accessible by car. The holiday home is warm, cosy and well-equipped to meet needs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, would definitely return again if I'm in the area.

The cottage is absolutely lovely. It has a great kitchen with everything you need to be self catering. The living room has a comfortable space in which to relax. The bed was very comfortable with a skylight cover which was great! It enables you to block out the light when the sun rises at 4:30 in the morning. The bathroom is amazing with a big shower. There was a very effective fan in the cottage which was really wonderful since we had pretty warm days and it helped to cool down the space. The entire cottage has been artfully decorated and was spotlessly clean. There is interesting lighting throughout the space. There is a small outer area with a table that is fenced in if you had a dog. The cottage is off the Main Street so it was very quiet but just minutes from the main part of town so easy walking to trailheads, shopping and restaurants. There is a small grocery store within a few minutes walk. There was parking available within a reasonable distance of the cottage. The owners were very responsive to our questions.
