We only live locally but used as stopover when attending a gig at Brewery Arts which is short walk away, as are the towns bars and restaurants. Decor is stylish and modern, but cosy and fittings are to a high standard. Easy check in/out and helpful owners. Highly recommend:)

The host was very helpful and included breakfast at the cafe, which was fantastic. The apartment was great, with all that one needs for a lovely stay. A recently renovated apartment located in Kendal, La'al Lodge in Kendal (The Gateway to the Lakes) features a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is 17 km from World of Beatrix Potter. I had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Surprisingly the weather in the UK was quite warm and I was very happy about the air conditioning. I find it truly impressive that every detail has been thought of.

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Millom, 42 km from Lake Windermere, 43 km from Wasdale, as well as 49 km from Scafell Pike. The location was excellent, we had a lovely view of the ocean and it was very accessible by car. The holiday home is warm, cosy and well-equipped to meet needs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, would definitely return again if I'm in the area.

The place was so close to the center, very quiet and perfect for our stay. The owners left some breakfast for us which was nice. Great communication and they checked on us to see if everything was ok. Wonderful stay.
