Sightseeing Kutaisi takes maximum 3 hours (with time for relax, taking photos), for me is not worth spending more time in the city. Its surroundings (Gelati Monastery, Prometheus Cave, Okatse Canyon) are more interesting, you need 1-2 days to visit everything.

The place is lovely and very relaxing from Kutaisi we traveled 1hr to visit the Prometheus cave, Sataplia Caves and Nature Reserve with Jurassic Park, and Martvili Canyon where we visited beautiful scenery and wonderful waterfalls. We have done water rafting too. With a tourist guide, you will reach places at more affordable prices.

Full of nature. If you are going there make sure to bring your swimming costume and extra clothing with you . Lot of waterfalls and water. Be prepaired for tracking. I visited most od the places outside or around kuteshi but not the one in the city. I hope those are too mermerising like its surroundings . City itself felt like nostalgia.

Kuitais is a small town .
Kuitais is a small town . But with good across to mayervalli caves oarmargon caves and obsaedi canyon . Local one day tours are good . But not a very modern city. Not touristy . No touts or souvineer shops like tourist places clm and peaceful
Newport Hotel is a real gem of a hotel. It is the second time we have stayed there as a group of 6; and we will definitely be returning when we fly back to Georgia next year. The staff are very attentive; accommodating and helpful. The rooms are spacious (we had a suite for 4 people and a double for 2 people), very clean and comfortable. The food served in the restaurant is excellent. The hotel is also situated in a lovely part of the old town; and very easy for the airport.
Everything was really good. Anna was an amazing host and did everything to make our stay comfortable. She even fixed taxi for us from the airport, even when we come to Kutaisi 2 at night. I really recommend this place if you want a comfortable stay for reasonable price.
