Everything was great about this property...Whether it is location, breakfast, rooms facilities, interiors, bathrooms, cleanliness, outside views.... I would say one will definitely be satisfied and happy with the property vis-a-vis price paid. I would say there were four (4) things which i really relished about this property....Foremost the hospitality of Mr Kakha who manages this property, Secondly serene views of river Rioni, Thirdly great location as hotel is in walking distance from all major attractions including White bridge etc. and lastly great breakfast especially for vegetarian.
Mr Kakha is a great human who will keep you engaged and would try to help you out in every possible way. He also speaks good English and is a great communicator. He also allowed me to use hotel kitchen for my personal vegetarian food preparation.
Overall i really enjoyed my stay in Sanapiro Hotel and would recommend others also. There is as such nothing negative about this property in the given price bracket.

For a low-budget hotel they offer very good service including airport pickup for a fair price. Do not expect the Hilton hotel at such low prices. But it is clean, the beds are fine and there is a warm shower. I have been in similarly priced hotels that had less facilities.

In Georgia, many people speak English, which is very pleasing—something you won’t often find in Italy, France, or Spain.
Here are a few interesting observations about Georgia:
- Georgia has experienced many wars, which have shaped the character of its people. You can feel the strength, resilience, and masculinity in Georgian men
- There are many stray dogs, and unfortunately, no shelters for them.
- There are a lot of police cars on the streets for control and monitoring.
- The average salary in Georgia is about $200–$400 per month. When I asked, "Where do the funds for expensive cars come from?" the guides explained that the money comes from abroad. Many young people have moved to the U.S. or Europe to try their luck and send money back to their families.
- The food here is outrageously delicious. I think I’ve never eaten better, not even in my beloved Italy. But you can’t stay here for more than a week—otherwise, you’ll turn into a chubby khinkali yourself! 🐷
- Compared to Europe and the euro, Georgia is very affordable.
- The country boasts excellent sanatoriums, spas, and therapeutic treatments.
- “Yes” in Georgian is *"Ho,"* and “No” is *"Ara."*
- A cow once crashed into our car on the road and took off the bumper. You must be very careful when driving here! 🐄🐮
- Compared to the “monotonous” Europe, Georgia felt authentic and real to me. While it’s not a wealthy country, and it lacks the “glitz and glamour” of places like Dubai, the people are genuine, warm, and incredibly hospitable!
Georgia is my 29th country, and a delightful discovery! I highly recommend it for tourism ☀️. Living here? Probably not. But for delicious food and breathtaking natural beauty? Absolutely!

We dint explore much around Kutaisi and were only there for the Airport Transfer to and from Georgia . However I now realize that I missed some great attractions within Kutaisi which should have been explored. Stay in Kutaisi for a day and explore their gorgeous caves, visit Bakuriani and Batumi from here due to its proximity rather than Tbilisi or Gudauri.

Kutaisi itself doesn't have much to see but it makes a good base for visiting nearby attractions such as Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon, which are both well worth a visit. There are some good restaurants and cafes around town.

A laid back city.
A laid back city. The hotel where we stayed was close to the main attractions that you can reach by walking. Plenty of restaurants around but you have to ask specifically for the ingredients especially if you’re not eating pork. The place is nice, however, people don’t converse much in English.

Location and rooms (except no English Tv channels) are very good. Lobby is non-existing, as it was sold off to the nice Caffe Boo on the corner. The hotels breakfast restaurant and breakfast it self is nothing to long for. I suggest the hotel strikes a deal with Caffe Boo and have the hotel breakfast there instead. Then Caffe Boo can open earlier, and the Hotel gets a nice breakfast restaurant.

ery friendly and pleasant staff and manager. The hotel is located 500 meters from the city center, it is possible to stop the car in a car park. The rooms are clean, warm, very tasty breakfast, which was brought directly to the room. They organized a transfer from the airport, as well as excursions to very beautiful places around Georgia, with wery expereansed driver. We stayed very satisfied. In this I recommend to stay at this hotel.
I had an incredible experience staying at Jay's Hotel in Kutaisi. I highly recommend this establishment, particularly for the outstanding hospitality provided by Noda. His exceptional service went above and beyond my expectations. He even personally picked me up from the airport. Noda's genuine care and attention made my stay truly memorable, and I will definitely choose to stay at Jay's Hotel again in the future.
Host picked us up in the airport so getting to hotel and inside was very easy.
We landed late - 00:30, it was no problem for him and he was very helpful and friendly.
we also took some tours with the host, and everything was perfect, we didn't have to worry about anything. Totally recommend, we really enjoyed our stay here.
A great place to stay if you need to travel the next day from Kutaisi airport. Clean and spacious. It only has two rooms and a large shared kitchen and dining area, with private bathrooms. It was very quiet and since it was only two rooms onsite, it had a lot of privacy. One of the better stays that I had in Georgia.
Good location of hotel if you have early flight from Kutaisi airport. Taxi to airport costs ~30 lari and it takes ~20 min.
Hotel is clean and comfortable. Good price / value ratio.
Nice garden with pool and tree house although we didn't try as it was winter.
