This is by far the best value for money hotel that we would have stayed in Tbilisi. The main highlight was the hotel was kind enough to allow to store 10 suitcases for more than 2 weeks. We travelled as a large group and this was really helpful. Also they had a weighing machine at your disposal. The helpers were polite, courteous and at service promptly.

In Georgia, many people speak English, which is very pleasing—something you won’t often find in Italy, France, or Spain.
Here are a few interesting observations about Georgia:
- Georgia has experienced many wars, which have shaped the character of its people. You can feel the strength, resilience, and masculinity in Georgian men
- There are many stray dogs, and unfortunately, no shelters for them.
- There are a lot of police cars on the streets for control and monitoring.
- The average salary in Georgia is about $200–$400 per month. When I asked, "Where do the funds for expensive cars come from?" the guides explained that the money comes from abroad. Many young people have moved to the U.S. or Europe to try their luck and send money back to their families.
- The food here is outrageously delicious. I think I’ve never eaten better, not even in my beloved Italy. But you can’t stay here for more than a week—otherwise, you’ll turn into a chubby khinkali yourself! 🐷
- Compared to Europe and the euro, Georgia is very affordable.
- The country boasts excellent sanatoriums, spas, and therapeutic treatments.
- “Yes” in Georgian is *"Ho,"* and “No” is *"Ara."*
- A cow once crashed into our car on the road and took off the bumper. You must be very careful when driving here! 🐄🐮
- Compared to the “monotonous” Europe, Georgia felt authentic and real to me. While it’s not a wealthy country, and it lacks the “glitz and glamour” of places like Dubai, the people are genuine, warm, and incredibly hospitable!
Georgia is my 29th country, and a delightful discovery! I highly recommend it for tourism ☀️. Living here? Probably not. But for delicious food and breathtaking natural beauty? Absolutely!

We dint explore much around Kutaisi and were only there for the Airport Transfer to and from Georgia . However I now realize that I missed some great attractions within Kutaisi which should have been explored. Stay in Kutaisi for a day and explore their gorgeous caves, visit Bakuriani and Batumi from here due to its proximity rather than Tbilisi or Gudauri.

Kutaisi itself doesn't have much to see but it makes a good base for visiting nearby attractions such as Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon, which are both well worth a visit. There are some good restaurants and cafes around town.

A laid back city.
A laid back city. The hotel where we stayed was close to the main attractions that you can reach by walking. Plenty of restaurants around but you have to ask specifically for the ingredients especially if you’re not eating pork. The place is nice, however, people don’t converse much in English.

Location and rooms (except no English Tv channels) are very good. Lobby is non-existing, as it was sold off to the nice Caffe Boo on the corner. The hotels breakfast restaurant and breakfast it self is nothing to long for. I suggest the hotel strikes a deal with Caffe Boo and have the hotel breakfast there instead. Then Caffe Boo can open earlier, and the Hotel gets a nice breakfast restaurant.

The hotel owner speaks English well and went out of his way to help us, helping carry bags up to the room and allowing us to eat our delivered food in the restaurant after a late arrival. We could park inside the gate. The room was tidy and had a good bathroom and balcony, at the back of the hotel there's no traffic noise. He's nearly finished building a new hotel wing with pool and an area for his prize chickens and peacocks. Located on a main road 10 minutes out of town, but convenient for Kutaisi airport.
We stayed at the Grand Opera Hotel for one night before catching a flight out of Kutaisi in the early morning. The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff is very efficient and helpful, they booked our transfer to the airport and prepared breakfasts to go for our departure at 4 AM. The hotel is perfectly located in the old center of Kutaisi, there is a lovely cafe below it. The terrasse on top looks like a cool place to chill. Good value for money.
ery friendly and pleasant staff and manager. The hotel is located 500 meters from the city center, it is possible to stop the car in a car park. The rooms are clean, warm, very tasty breakfast, which was brought directly to the room. They organized a transfer from the airport, as well as excursions to very beautiful places around Georgia, with wery expereansed driver. We stayed very satisfied. In this I recommend to stay at this hotel.
It's the best place to stay in Kutaisi if not the whole country! Amazing hosts, huge room with a comfortable bed. Location couldn't be more central. They provide airport pick up if needed, organize personalized and very flexible tours and make sure you enjoy your time. Breakfast is very delicious and their homemade products (wine, bread and other typical dishes) are amazing! Their dog is super cute!
This hotel is ideally located just 10-15 minutes from Kutaisi Airport, making it perfect for a short stopover before or after your flight. It's a small, cozy hotel with a charming courtyard, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay near the airport!
