The beauty of this place exceeded my expectations, it felt like paradise✨ The staff is so helpful, friendly, yet professional. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and super clean. The beach is within a walking distance but they still drop you off/pick you up upon request, where there is a variety of restaurants and cafes as you stroll along the lovely beach area. Loved the sparkling pool with floats and the fresh, tasty breakfast every morning without fail. Samawa Living is a home away from home and our preferred hotel in Paje!

This is the most beautiful and serene hotel I’ve ever visited on an island. I love the architecture as well as the minimalist boho designs of the room.

Stunning small hotel in a quiet place, ideal for single gate away or relaxing stay for couples. Staff was superfriendly and really wants to get to know you. A lot of choices for vegans and vegetarians and food is simply delicious.

Located in Matemwe, a few steps from Matemwe Beach, Infinity Beach Boutique Hotel & SPA provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. The experience was idyllic both for location and facilities. It is truly a bespoke boutique hotel, run with great attention to detail by Malgo and Tomek. From the moment of arrival you are made very welcome and special. The accommodation is spacious and well designed for privacy from the other rooms, yet looking out towards the Ocean. The breakfast includes fresh juicy local fruit, as well as a substantial main selection guaranteed to set you up for the day. Meals are available throughout the day, individually prepared with an awesome selection of locally caught fish - the seared spiced Tuna was a delight. The staff from the nearby village were lovely, incredibly helpful and cheerful. The proprietors were very helpful in arranging airport transfers and proposed trips to Stone Town, fishing trips, spice farm visits - with all costs transparent when settling up at the end. I made full use of the scuba diving school 100 metres away along the beach, who arranged snorkelling/dive trips to Mnemba island with its reefs shoaling with diverse species of fish. The infinity beach is a special place with a family feel - and a refreshingly pleasant swimming pool.

Set in Nungwi, 200 metres from Royal Beach, Canary Hotel & SPA offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The fantastic staff made our stay very memorable particularly Mwinyiand Monica! The pool and location are amazing and the breakfast had everything you could have wanted. Thank you so much to everyone at the Canary Hotel and Spa!

Set in Mtende, 35 km from Zanzibar Butterfly Centre, Baobab Africa Lodge Zanzibar offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Facing the beachfront, Sensations Eco-Chic Hotel offers 5-star accommodation in Pwani Mchangani Mdogo and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. We re-located to this hotel from another in the area as we were looking for a more private / luxurious experience for our honeymoon. Given the recent age of the hotel and lack of review online we were admittedly a bit hesitant but were immediately put at ease upon arrival, where we were warmly greeted, had our feet washed / massaged and were introduced to our personal butler ! The service is simply unparalleled, the level of care and attention to detail is unlike anything we had previously experienced. The limited number of rooms certainly helps with this as often times it felt like there was more staff than guests. The room was immaculate, modern and spacious (we booked the deluxe room). There is also a WiFi extender inside the room providing the fastest internet we encountered on the trip. The food was top notch, with plenty of variety each day from an a la carte menu. There is also a tepynaki restaurant available for an additional fee.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Super nice and cute hotel and super friendly staff we definitely will back❤️
