I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Customer care is very well applied here. Everything is carefully done. The room is big, it has everything you need: refrigerator, iron, kettle, AC, big table, 2 comfortable chairs, a nice balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Wi-fi was good. The bathroom has enough space too and it looks modern. A lot of small stores around the hotel and close to the beach, around 100 m. The area has good roads, so it is full of cars and motorcycles.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. Great breakfast, on site massage, hair braiding and laundry service. Nice outdoor pool and seating arrangements.

The experience was idyllic both for location and facilities. It is truly a bespoke boutique hotel, run with great attention to detail by Malgo and Tomek. From the moment of arrival you are made very welcome and special. The accommodation is spacious and well designed for privacy from the other rooms, yet looking out towards the Ocean. The breakfast includes fresh juicy local fruit, as well as a substantial main selection guaranteed to set you up for the day. Meals are available throughout the day, individually prepared with an awesome selection of locally caught fish - the seared spiced Tuna was a delight. The staff from the nearby village were lovely, incredibly helpful and cheerful. The proprietors were very helpful in arranging airport transfers and proposed trips to Stone Town, fishing trips, spice farm visits - with all costs transparent when settling up at the end. I made full use of the scuba diving school 100 metres away along the beach, who arranged snorkelling/dive trips to Mnemba island with its reefs shoaling with diverse species of fish. The infinity beach is a special place with a family feel - and a refreshingly pleasant swimming pool.
