I travelled with my kids and to be honest this place did not feel like a lodge or hotel, it felt like home away from home. Everyone from the owners Eric and Sophie to all the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. They made it so hard for us to leave. We really enjoyed our vacation and we will for sure go back there. Thank you to all of the Lodges staff and a big thank you to Eric and Sophie for make our trip a memorable one. We will always remember this holiday.

Facing the beachfront, Sensations Eco-Chic Hotel offers 5-star accommodation in Pwani Mchangani Mdogo and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. We re-located to this hotel from another in the area as we were looking for a more private / luxurious experience for our honeymoon. Given the recent age of the hotel and lack of review online we were admittedly a bit hesitant but were immediately put at ease upon arrival, where we were warmly greeted, had our feet washed / massaged and were introduced to our personal butler ! The service is simply unparalleled, the level of care and attention to detail is unlike anything we had previously experienced. The limited number of rooms certainly helps with this as often times it felt like there was more staff than guests. The room was immaculate, modern and spacious (we booked the deluxe room). There is also a WiFi extender inside the room providing the fastest internet we encountered on the trip. The food was top notch, with plenty of variety each day from an a la carte menu. There is also a tepynaki restaurant available for an additional fee.

Set in Nungwi, 200 metres from Royal Beach, Canary Hotel & SPA offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The place is very luxurious, clean and nice for the amount of price. A well known oasis in Nungwi close to a nice beach and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the massage and Turkish hamam is a must.

Facing the beachfront, Be Zanzibar Boutique Hotel offers 5-star accommodation in Mfumbwi and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. This is the most beautiful and serene hotel I’ve ever visited on an island. I love the architecture as well as the minimalist boho designs of the room.

Stunning small hotel in a quiet place, ideal for single gate away or relaxing stay for couples. Staff was superfriendly and really wants to get to know you. A lot of choices for vegans and vegetarians and food is simply delicious.

Babalao Bungalows has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. We really enjoy our stay in Babalao Hotel, we always felt care like at home, Ahmet and Gökçe were really friendly and explaining us all with details from the beginning to know all about the zone and even the prices to don’t pay overprice. Also the chef of the hotel is amazing we ate all days in the Hotel and was really really good! seafood was top! definitely we recommend stay here, also really close to the beach less than 5 minutes by walking.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The location is simply breathtaking, with direct access to a secluded beach that felt like our own private paradise. Tomek and Malgo were the most welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality created a truly unforgettable experience. The staff was exceptional, especially those in the restaurant who served us delicious meals. It was a peaceful vacation and my partner and I could truly relax and recharge. Highly recommend it.

Set in Paje, 500 metres from Paje Beach, Samawa Living offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Everything was AMAZING. The staff is incredibly nice and always made me feel welcome. I took a yoga and meditation class which were offer by the hotel, both the best clases I have ever taken. The food is delicious both diner and breakfast. My room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable, and they go way beyond with all the toiletreats. The pool is also super niche and while the hotel does not have access to the beach, a 5 min golf cart will take you there. Great location too, near to trendy restaurants and artisan markets.
