Set in Zao Onsen and only 200 metres from Zao Onsen Ski Resort, Takasagoya Ryokan offers accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. A public bath is available for guests. The room size, staff service and food was spectacular. It was as competitive as the service I experienced in Kamikochi.

Hamabeno Ryouriyado Houraikan provides a public bath and an open-air bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Kamaishi, 1.3 km from Kamaishi Recovery Memorial Stadium. Small Ryokan. Well located near the sea. Excellent food. Nice room and wonderful Onsen on the roof with a sea-view. on the evening, we listened to the Lady owner telling us her own story surviving the 2011 tsunami and helping dozen of people the following days. Her story was really emotional and she is a true heroine. I am glad we met her and I am very happy to spend one night in this hotel to help local economy.

Boasting natural hot spring baths, Hohoemino Kuyufu Tsuruya is located a 15-minute walk from JR Tendo Station, 50 km from Sendai. The onsen experience was incredible! Very accommodating and great privacy. Guest rooms were spacious and warm.

Featuring free property-wide WiFi, a spa centre and a seasonal outdoor pool, Matsushima Ichinobo offers accommodation in Matsushima. way beyond expectation, newly renovated room facing the garden and ocean, very generous amenities and free drink selection on executive floor. lots of value-added items for free. highly recommended.

Tagoto features a hot public bath, Japanese-style and Western rooms and Japanese cuisine, a 5-minute drive from Aizu Wakamatsu Station. This traditional Japanese hotel offered excellent service and wonderful food. The meal was the highlight of our trip to Aizuwakamatsu! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive to us.

Surrounded by sacred mountains and untouched nature, Tamonkan is housed in a historic Japanese-style building. Complimentary tea and snacks are served to welcome guests. We loved the beautiful Ryokan, the marvelous Food for breakfast and dinner and the friendly hosts. Thanks for a wonderful stay. It was my second time at Dewa San San and I can highly recommend Tamonkan.

Located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Zao Sky Cable aerial lift, Miyamaso Takamiya features 9 natural hot spring baths for guests to enjoy. Stunning historical ryokan with a number of historic and new onsens. The rooms are renovated in a gorgeous traditional Japanese style and the meal was exceptional. The chef kindly catered for my allergy as I advised in advance. Staying at this ryokan was an exceptional experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Zao Onsen.

Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. Beautiful classic hotel - small and private - with character to match located in a very quiet location with ease of access to the botanical (water) gardens, forest and the art and craft workshop. Staff were very attentive. Dinner was an amazing feast - and artwork for the eyes!

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. A beautiful place, wonderful location, very nice staff and excellent food.

Situated in Senboku and only 15 km from Nyuto Hot Spring, Kashintei Shirahama features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. A bit expensive but the experience was worth it, we had the best dinner of our trip in Japan, even though a translation of the menu in english would be appreciated. The room was big and confortable, we had a very nice stay here.
