food is delicous and the hot spring is awesome
amazing onsen spacious rooms
Close proximity to restaurants and shopping. Good hot spring, excellent service and you can self help to amenities. Breakfast was excellent.
The onsen baths were amazing - one large indoor, 2 outdoors with 2 additional ceramic tubs, and an expansive view of the surroundings. We booked a traditional room, so had to make our own futons which the kids loved helping to set it up. We were travelling the Kyushu region for the last 12 days, and definitely the best hotel breakfast we have had. It’s an old hotel, but it looks like internal renovations were done. A quaint old world feel.. jazz music was in the lobby and at the bath foyer.
Very unique hotel not just average onsen ryokan. Breakfast excellent. Very cozy bar with high quality drink selection. Enjoyed the dinner course. Price reasonable. Rooms a bit old but very clean and spacious.
Breakfast and Dinner were supper awesome. The most incredible thing was onsen the hot spring bathing facility
The staff r friendly and helpful. The rooms r comfortable but they don’t lay the futons for u… The Onsen is great and the breakfast spread is amazing!
the room was nice in spite of many small ants on the worn-out tatami. free coffee in the morning yukata provided.
The kaiseki dinner is very nice. Breakfast spread was good and varied. The onsen facilities in ryokan is very good, especially the open air bath area. The sand bath option is unusual, and the foot bath avail is nice too. Even as the staff mostly cannot speak english well, they were very helpful and assisted to their best efforts. The shop in lobby level is interesting with things to purchase.
The staff was very polite to welcome us at carpark when we drove in. Staff was very kind to explain to us about breakfast, dinner time and facilities in the resort. He also brought us to our room at 4th floor. Onsen was superb, and as stated, the hot spring water is really different from other parts of Japan. It's silky smooth. Breakfast and dinner were sumptuous and the staff will explain to us the content and answered our queries too. Overall, very good experience and we enjoyed very much!
