The room and property are well maintained, very clean. Japanese Breakfast is very good, a set meal with grilled fish. The highlight is of course the Keiseki dinner on first night and Saga Beef shabu shabu on second night. It is highly recommended for guest at this Ryokan to have at least one dinner meal during the stay.

Set in Ureshino and only 33 km from Huis Ten Bosch, 奥武雄温泉 風の森 offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Guests staying at this ryokan have access to a balcony. Oh my, what didn't I like. Everything was great, from the water in the onsen, the dinner, the breakfast, the staff. I really cannot complain about anything.

Ureshino Yadoya ligger 32 km fra Huis Ten Bosch og tilbyder indkvartering med balkon, udendørs badekar og have. It was a luxurious hotel in the Onsen town of Ureshino that completely blew us away. The rooms were large and spacious, very well appointed and well laid out. The staff were extremely attentive and there were lots common areas to relax in. The open air onsen and saunas were also well laid out. A bit on the expensive side but a great place to splurge once in a while!

Tara Dakeonsen Kanigoten er en nyrenoveret ryokan, som ligger i Tara, 45 km fra Fredsparken. Der er udendørs badekar og havudsigt. Room was clean, comfortable and huge with in room private onsen, bedroom and in room onsen with sea view, kaiseki seafood dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly and helpful.

Contemporary Ryokan esthetic. Huge rooms with lots of amenities. Nice Onsen. Nice complementary lounge. Excellent dinner and service. Had an early departure before breakfast- they packed a Bento Box for me to eat on the train. Facilities and service exceeded my expectations.

Mizuno Ryokan ligger 7 minutters gang fra Karatsu Slot og tilbyder rolige værelser i japansk stil med fantastisk panoramaudsigt over havet. It was a perfectly manicured property and every room offered a breathtaking ocean view. Their kaiseki dinner was delicious and their service was to die for. We told them that we’re celebrating our husbands’ big birthday there and we’re what they’d come up with. They offered them a lovely birthday cake with traditional Japanese celebration attire for them to try on! We loved their care and wonderful hospitality.

First, this place is really great and an incredible bargain. It is located on the edge of the old castle grounds, only minutes walking to Karatsu Castle. The views of the river from the room and of the castle during breakfast are fabulous. The comfortable futons and quiet comforters were great. Our twin room had a small attached bathtub and toilet but we used the wonderful private ofuro each evening. We stayed in room 201, next to the wide staircase, above the ofuro bath. This room is the most protected from the sounds of road traffic but the din of road noise is still there some. I am a light sleeper and my wife and I slept great here! If you like Japanese style breakfasts then you will love it here. We walked through the nice pine forest down to the beach, as well as thoroughly exploring the castle. We had a great lunch at DonDonTei, down the street from Riverside. The value of where this inn is located and the quality of your stay are first class, in our book. After a month in Japan, this 2 night stay was truly one of our highlights!
