The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

Yurian is located in Ibusuki, 10 km from Ibusuki Onsen. There is a pool and hot springs bath on site. Pool and hot springs bath water are replaced 2 times a day. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Offering a garden and mountain view, Iseebisou is located in Ibusuki, 49 km from Kagoshima Station and a few steps from Bandokorobana Park. Beautiful property by the sea. Room was clean, comfortable and huge with sea view, kaiseki seafood dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly and helpful.

Boasting spacious natural hot spring baths and sand foot-bath, Ibusuki Syusui-en offers chic Japanese-style accommodation. The food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional- couldn’t ménage full breakfast but quality was super! All staff great and the staff member looking after our stay Sarin (?) was so wonderfully caring and attentive/ - many thanks!

Hanon～波音～ has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tatsugo, 1.1 km from Kurasaki Beach. It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

A 5-minute walk from Tenmonkandori Tram Station, Nakahara Bessou offers Japanese-style and Western accommodations with a flat-screen TV and refreshing public hot-spring baths. Everything was just perfect. Fabulous location, staff and facilities. Loved the gentle renovation, it has kept its ryokan style. Loved the decor of our room, it gave it a really nice atmosphere.
