The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

Yurian er staðsett í Ibusuki, 10 km frá Ibusuki Onsen. Það er sundlaug og hverabað á staðnum. Skipt er um vatn í sundlauginni og heita hveravatni 2 sinnum á dag. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Iseebisou er staðsett í Ibusuki, 49 km frá Kagoshima-stöðinni og nokkrum skrefum frá Bandokorobana-garðinum. Boðið er upp á garð og fjallaútsýni. The hotel is located in a beautiful natural setting, on the seafront and with spectacular views. The hotel staff treated us very kindly and helped us with everything we needed. They even picked us up and took us to the station when we left. They made us feel at home! Highly recommended

Bihadanoyu Koshikano Onsen er með hverabað og loftkæld gistirými í Kirishima, 47 km frá Kagoshima Chuo-stöðinni, 48 km frá Kagoshima-stöðinni og 15 km frá Kirishima Jingu-helgiskríninu. I wish we stayed here longer. This is where we stayed when we arrived from Kagoshima Airport. Absolutely beautiful place with helpful staff. Best breakfast we had in Japan! The onsen in the room was amazing!

Hanon～波音～ has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Tatsugo, 1.1 km from Kurasaki Beach. It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

The staff are very friendly and make great efforts to help. The hotel is traditional with kind of unhurried pace and subtle respect to guests. Location is best especially for visitors on short visits to Kagoshima.

Koran no Yu Kinkouro býður upp á ókeypis WiFi í öllum herbergjum. Á staðnum eru heit almenningsböð innandyra og utandyra með útsýni yfir Nishikiko-flóa og Sakurajima. The service was outstanding! Every care was taken to assure we were comfortable and our plans were intact. This included picking us up at the train station at midnight after travel mishaps, helping us figure out taxi, busss, and train travel to a seaside Onsen, and calling ahead to our next destination to coordinate a shuttle. This is one of the few places that saw my long legs and immediately went to get a larger Yukata and slippers. The Onsens at the property were also first rate.
