Onyado Shikishima-kan offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 32 km of Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 40 km of Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

Featuring an outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths on the top floor, Bay Resort Hotel Shodoshima is located in Shodoshima Island. All guestrooms offer great ocean views. The staff was super friendly and the hotel facilities was top notch. Really easy to rent a car at the hotel to experience Shodoshima.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. We enjoyed our one-night stay a lot! Free parking, very close and walking distance to the Kotohiragu area. The room itself was very spacious for 2 people. The onsen was also very nice, there were multiple hot tubs (including jet/jacuzzi ones) indoors and outdoors, and they switch the onsen between male and female overnight. There's also restaurants within the hotel itself. The deco of the hotel along the main walkway and the reception was quite traditional and was nice to appreciate.

We enjoyed a peaceful night in this modern Japanese 'ryokan'. I like the design of each part of the place. It's so relaxing the moment we stepped in. We're able to enjoy the excellent sushi set with a private sushi chef and we also liked the outdoor onsen. My husband and my 6-month old baby were really happy that we chose this place as our last night in Takamatsu. We will definitely recommend to our friends and we will come back again.

Toramaru Ryokan offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 33 km of Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 42 km of Liminal Air-core Takamatsu. The location and the staff are wonderful. It’s a bicycle friendly ryokan: no problem to store our bikes inside by the reception.

Set within 1.2 km of MeiPAM Art Museum and 1.3 km of Saiko-ji Temple in Tonosho, Kikuya Ryokan features accommodation with seating area. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!
