What made this property exceptional is attention to detail such as lighting of the room, freshly made espresso, foot bath overlooking the garden, a massage chair, amongst others. The food was splendid, the service is polite and staff treats you with care. The experience felt elevated as compared to other ryokans I was staying.

Featuring an outdoor pool and natural hot spring baths on the top floor, Bay Resort Hotel Shodoshima is located in Shodoshima Island. All guestrooms offer great ocean views. The staff was super friendly and the hotel facilities was top notch. Really easy to rent a car at the hotel to experience Shodoshima.

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. We enjoyed our one-night stay a lot! Free parking, very close and walking distance to the Kotohiragu area. The room itself was very spacious for 2 people. The onsen was also very nice, there were multiple hot tubs (including jet/jacuzzi ones) indoors and outdoors, and they switch the onsen between male and female overnight. There's also restaurants within the hotel itself. The deco of the hotel along the main walkway and the reception was quite traditional and was nice to appreciate.

Toramaru Ryokan está en Kotohira, a 33 km de Kitahamaebisu Shrine, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y salón de uso común. The location and the staff are wonderful. It’s a bicycle friendly ryokan: no problem to store our bikes inside by the reception.

Kikuya Ryokan ofrece habitaciones en Tonosho, cerca de Saiko-ji Temple y de Catholic Shodoshima Church. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!

Yunaginoyu Hotel Hanajyukai se encuentra en Takamatsu, a 3,7 km de Liminal Air-core Takamatsu y a 3,7 km de Sunport Fountain. The staff are exceptionally nice. They tried the best to make me feel like home and they made it. They speak Japanese slowly with gesture so that even a foreigner can understand and appreciate. The bath facilities are so good that I can do that all day.
