Onyado Shikishima-kan offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 32 km of Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 34 km of Takamatsu Heike Monogatari Historical Museum. The food was amazing, quality and quantity. It seemed like the longer we stayed, the more we were treated. The private onsen rooms were fabulous, too. We went several times each day!

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Loved everything, the onsen is spectacular. Setting is simply beautiful!

Gorgeous hotel, room & grounds, including the dining room, lounge & lobby. Japanese-style room was very comfortable, with very attentive and professional staff.

39 km from Liminal Air-core Takamatsu, Kachusha Gekko is a recently renovated property set in Tadotsu and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Very welcoming host! Great dinner and breakfast 👌 Would definitely recommend for a traditional stay !

Amazing view onsen, world-class “omotenashi” service, spectacular food (morning & dinner buffet is amazing-strongly recommend half-boarding options since there’s really no good restaurants around and cheaper to book it online than adding it at the hotel), free drink (coffee & tea)and free shuttle bus service from every port (reservation needed by a day before)

A 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Train Station, Kotosankaku Hiten provides Japanese rooms with traditional futon beds and Konpira Mountain views. We enjoyed our one-night stay a lot! Free parking, very close and walking distance to the Kotohiragu area. The room itself was very spacious for 2 people. The onsen was also very nice, there were multiple hot tubs (including jet/jacuzzi ones) indoors and outdoors, and they switch the onsen between male and female overnight. There's also restaurants within the hotel itself. The deco of the hotel along the main walkway and the reception was quite traditional and was nice to appreciate.

Toramaru Ryokan offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 33 km of Kitahamaebisu Shrine and 34 km of Takamatsu Heike Monogatari Historical Museum. The location and the staff are wonderful. It’s a bicycle friendly ryokan: no problem to store our bikes inside by the reception.

Set within 1.2 km of MeiPAM Art Museum and 1.3 km of Saiko-ji Temple in Tonosho, Kikuya Ryokan features accommodation with seating area. Great value for money, located right by the port, with great access to the rest of the island. The host was friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to help, despite the langugage barrier (which with a little google translate, really isn't so much a barrier nowadays anyway). Also, I received a free room upgrade! Who can complain!
