Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Traditional ryokan with amazing views and super nice staff. Wonderful service! Perfect location - not directly next to the ferry pier, however, the ryokan’s shuttle is super convenient. We rented a bike from the ryokan to go explore early in the morning and it was the best thing we could have done! Highly recommended!!

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. I had one of my best travel experiences here at Kikunoya! The place is a traditional inn where you can enjoy a Japanese style tatami floored room, they provide yukatas and slippers for you, and you can use the outdoor or indoor onsen too. Everything is provided for this such as shower oils and creams. The receptionists were really friendly and we had a great conversation with them in Japanese (but don't worry, they can explain everything you need in English). There is also an outdoor foot bath combined with a cafe menu, the whole atmosphere is pretty, clean, emphasizing nature and traditional designs. Breakfast was also traditional style with many small dishes, and they provided an English explanation of everything and how to eat it properly. The location is a little bit uphill but close to the center (it's a small island after all). The rooms were spacious with a tea table and built in closets next to our futons. If you're thinking of making a Miyajima day trip, I definitely recommend staying for at least one night just for the ryokan experience.

Located in Miyajima with Five Storey Pagoda and Itsukushima Shrine nearby, Kinsuikan provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Everything! Right from the reception, the amenities offered to the service of the staffs. Rooms were really clean and the in room dining is a must have. We booked the couple room with the en suite onsen and we can directly see the Torii gate from our room. The experience is exceptional. There is also access to the common area with many snacks and drinks provided. One of the most complete experience I have had in a hotel. The price might be on the steep end but definitely worth the experience!

Located within 2.3 km of Tsutsumigaura Beach and 500 metres of Five Storey Pagoda, Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Miyajima. The breakfast was awesome. The hotel accommodated our request (what we don't eat) and provided an alternative. Room was a little small but overall a great experience!

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, 800 metres from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as 1.3 km from Daisho-in Temple. Close to ferry terminal Nice and clean room Very friendly staff/owner Near to the only minimarket on island Theres a foodplace that open until pretty late

Located in Miyajima, 400 metres from Five Storey Pagoda and 600 metres from Itsukushima Shrine, Itsumoya offers a garden and air conditioning. The house is simply stunning! If you're looking for an authentic stay, this is it. The little garden in the middle of the house really adds to its charm. The bath is the best I've had in the past 5 weeks of traveling around Japan. And the owner is delightful.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Host were very nice! Excellent stay and delicious meals

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The room is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful. I left my JR ticket in the room and the staff is very accommodative. A highly recommended place to stay during vacation.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. Amazing experience in a very nice Ryokan! The building itself is amazing, very close the the main interest points. All the staff is simply wonderful, they will do their best to make you feel at home. Last but not least, the food: I highly recommend to eat both dinner and breakfast at the ryokan: one of the best foods tried in Japan!

Featuring 2-star accommodation, Yamaichi Bekkan is set in Miyajima, 2.3 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 700 metres from Five Storey Pagoda. The owner and all the staffs are really kind and friendly! We also enjoyed a lot the meal. The room was larger than we thought and it was cozy to stay in. We are to have stayed there and would choose again if we revisit miyajima.
