Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The view was amazing, the dinner was very varied and tasty, it had around 10 different small dishes with different types of Japanese foods. We also went to onsen that was clean and enjoyable. The shuttle bus was very convenient - hotel offering an evening ride to see the Torii gate lighten up and the we went there again in the morning after checking out and once we were done sightseeing hotel delivered our luggage to the port and we went back to mainland.

Staying at the Kinsuikan was a magical time. Being in the middle of everything, getting the traditional experience as well as able to use the onsen.

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa er staðsett í Miyajima og býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna, garð og sameiginlega setustofu. I liked their traditional Japanese style room, garden. Stuffs were very nice and friendly.

Itsumoya er sögulegt tveggja hæða bæjarhús í japönskum stíl sem hægt er að leigja í heild sinni en það er staðsett í aðeins 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá hinu þekkta Itsukushima-helgiskríni á... I highly recommend this accommodation. It's absolutely stunning, our only regret was not staying longer than a night, you really want a minimum of 2 to make the most of it. We will definitely be coming back one day 😊

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Away from the crowds - definitely one of the best hotels of our stay in Japan. The room was spacious and very well equipped. All you need after a great day outside Miayajima is your yukata, your basket full of bath products to chill and relax in the onsen. Amazing japanese breakfast awaits you downstairs in the morning. Bonus : prepare yourself, the onsen is unbelievable!

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Amazing ryokan with a stunning view. We could see the gate and the temple from both our room and during dinner/breakfast. The rooms are nice, big, and cozy. The meals are just incredible. We were really full after the dinner (about 10 courses). The staff was kind and helpful. They were able to prepare vegan meals for one of us. Also, they brought our luggage directly to the ferry station (they also have a pick-up service, if needed). The private onsen is amazing. I hope to come back one day!

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. The environment is magical, with a small bridge leading to the forest. The building is splendid, clean, soft and decorated with a refined taste. The diner was exceptional (best sashimi I ever ate), and the onsen was also exceptionnal to enjoy.

Yamaichi Bekkan er í aðeins 1 mínútu göngufjarlægð frá Miyajima-ferjuhöfninni og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og flatskjá. Yukata-sloppar eru í boði fyrir alla gesti. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. They speak English and were always happy to help you. All meals were rich and made with delicious local products. The staff gave thoughtful explanations regarding the culture and traditions surrounding each food we ate, and gave tips on how to best enjoy each dish. The room was comfortable and large, with all equipments perfectly functional. An excellent option to enjoy "traditional" Japanese hotels. I would definitely stay again at this hotel without hesitation.

Ryoso Kawaguchi er staðsett í Miyajima og býður upp á fallegt útsýni yfir hina fimm hæða pagóðu Itsukushima-helgiskrínsins. Boðið er upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi. Absolutely amazing meals, both breakfast and dinner. Onsen was life saver after a hike to Mt misen. Futon beds were also comfortable enough for a good night sleep.
